Syriza has won a wonderful victory in the Greek elections. Will the Labour Party learn lessons from the cradle of democracy?
The Greek result reminds us that alternative economics and politics are possible. Angela Merkel needs to be reminded that Germany enjoyed substantial debt relief under the1953 London Agreement and the Marshall Plan. The anti-austerity choice of the Greek people is in our interests to defend.
